Autumn's Ride

A change of leaves,

A change of time,

A change of colors,

A change of heart…

A change of season,

Left far behind.

A new beginning,

When love arrives…

     

Change to the winter,

So cold, and nice,

When pain beneath

 Is left, beside.

Tears into spring,

Streams of life,

Running to reach,

Dancing sap, to the sky.

Back to the heat of love that flies…

Near my heart, which changes at night.

The next morning, so free and blind,

Dancing back, to autumn’s ride!
